Idaho Springs resident Jill Madison has a keen understanding of the importance of family.
She was separated from her three sisters when she was just 11 years old because of child abuse. She grew up as a ward of the state in Illinois.
Madison, 55, her three sisters and a long-lost brother met in Idaho Springs for a family reunion last Friday.
