County hopes new housing assessment will improve market

-A A +A
By Ian Neligh

Clear Creek is looking for a firm to perform a $50,000 housing-needs assessment in the county to help attract grants or developers and to help officials fully understand the issue.

The last housing-needs assessment was completed in 2012, and funding for this study is coming from the Henderson Mine.

“Thanks to our generous partner, the Henderson Mine, we will be able to update our 2012 housing needs assessment with solid information and strategies to implement housing development in the county,” said County Manager Keith Montag in a statement.
