Diggers’ size adds up to comeback victory

WESTMINSTER — Clear Creek used its size, behind big men Kellen Cosby and Justin Lucas, to its advantage to rally from a 14-point halftime deficit to upend The Academy 74-69 on Feb. 11.
Cosby had 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Lucas added 20 points and 15 boards as the Golddiggers (14-4, 9-1 3A Frontier League) won their third straight and ninth game out of 10.
Clear Creek outscored the host Wildcats 52-33 over the final 16 minutes. Xander and Sebby Andrade added 11 points each.
