Flat start doesn’t slow up Diggers

Spot the opposition 10 points right off the top. No problem. Not for the Clear Creek Golddiggers. Not this year at least.
That’s exactly what top-seeded Clear Creek did in the quarterfinals of the 3A Frontier League tournament on Feb. 18 against Bruce Randolph at CCHS. The Golddiggers only came back to score 32 of the next 39 points to lead by 15 at halftime en route to a 73-39 victory.
