Gayle L. Johnson, 50, finished a valiant race on Sept. 15, 2011, in Georgetown.
Gayle began her life in Gary, Ind., in June of 1961 and devoted the majority of her work career to the Clear Creek Economic Development Corp., influencing the lives of numerous clients and friends.
She enjoyed spending her leisure time outdoors, running, skiing, playing softball, gardening and traveling.
An avid storyteller with an infectious laugh, Gayle will remain a shining light for her daughters, Kelly and Lindsay Johnson, her sister Beth Shields, her mother Yolanda Schatz, and her nurturing and caring friends.
Her free spirit and desire to allow others to pursue their dreams will remain with family and friends forever.
A celebration of Gayle’s life was on Sept. 20, 2011, at Shadows Ranch in Georgetown.
Contributions to the Gayle L. Johnson Memorial Fund to benefit her daughters can be made at the Mutual of Omaha Bank in Evergreen or Idaho Springs.
