Homegrown bluegrass band plays its own tune

Credibility Gap is the most local band to perform at the United Center this year.

Each member of the bluegrass band has a varied history of jobs, from cave exploration and law clerking to hod carrying and ministry.

Terry Cox plays mandolin, sings lead and writes most of the band’s original songs. He’s worked in a state mental hospital and been a telephone operator, but his heart is underground: He’s published a history of gold mining in the Central City area.
