Lee charged with 16 misdemeanors after seizure of animals

Bill Lee, owner of Laughing Valley Ranch, has been released on bond after being charged with 16 class 1 misdemeanors in connection with cruelty to and neglect of animals.

A single class 1 misdemeanor is punishable by up to 18 months in prison and a $5,000 fine. Lee was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond, according to Clear Creek County sheriff's Capt. Bruce Snelling.
