Mitchell faces tough task at state

DENVER — At the beginning of the 2011-12 wrestling season, Clear Creek head coach Stan Gould thought that Tyson Mitchell had a chance of qualifying for the 3A state wrestling championships. After all, he got there as a freshman. He also won state and national titles as a 12-year-old.
But as the season wore on there were concern he wouldn’t get there.
