The Clear Creek Sheriff's Office would like other agencies using its dispatch center to start paying their share of the costs.
The dispatch center, which is the local 911 call center, costs the Sheriff's Office $859,414 a year to maintain and operate. In light of countywide budget cuts related to the eventual closure of the Henderson Mine, the county's highest property taxpayer, the agency is looking for ways to keep from cutting services.
