Bears have been hanging around our neighborhood quite regularly this year.  They show up morning, afternoon and night searching for food.  In such a bountiful year, with steady rains and dense foliage, I wonder why they are cruising around houses and not foraging in the expansive open and woodland areas, their natural habitat?
