Warm weather forces Loveland to close early

An unseasonably warm Spring is causing Loveland Ski Area to shut its slopes one week earlier then expected. The ski area is closing for the season on April 29.

Fellow Clear Creek County ski resort Echo Mountain also ended its ski season several weeks early due to the weather conditions.

Loveland will be hosting a closing-day party with skiing, snowboarding and music from musician Arnie J. Green on its last day.
