    Clear Creek County Extension will hold a meeting for potential adult and teen 4-H leaders on Oct. 2 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Join us at the Elks Lodge at 1600 Colorado Blvd. in Idaho Springs.  Pizza will be provided. 4-H is a community of young people learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.

    Mike Nichols presents information about the Historic 60th Anniversary of the Hot Rod Hill Climb up Guanella Pass on Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Georgetown Community Center as part of the Devil’s Gate History Club. The presentation covers 1953 to 2013 and features a lecture, historic photos and commentary.
