The Friends of the John Tomay Memorial Library annual meeting features entertainment by Suzie Solomon, “Songs and Women of the West,” on April 19 at 7 p.m. at the Georgetown Community Center. The event is free and open to the public.

High-Altitude Gardening Class 101 will be April 24 at 7 p.m. at the Great Hall in the United Church in Idaho Springs and at 7 p.m. April 25 at the Snetzer Building in Georgetown.

Social Ethics Meeting at the Project Support Senior Center in Idaho Springs at noon April 5. Coar ia $2.50 for lunch.

Clear Creek High School is seeking career professionals to exhibit at the third Biannual Career Fair.  This event helps students make informed decisions regarding their future careers.  If you are interested in sharing your career and advice with students in this informal tabletop setting, and for more specific information, contact Mary Smith, counselor, at 303-679-4608 or mary.smith@ccsdre1.org. This event is scheduled for April 10, however we would appreciate your commitment by March 15.

The Idaho Springs Lions will host a presentation by Dane Matthew, director of the Clear Creek Metropolitain Rec District. The program will be at the Buffalo Restaurant at noon. The public is welcome.
