Golddigger girls stay perfect to win league

WESTMINSTER — Nobody can stop the Clear Creek girls basketball team.

Well, at least in the Frontier League.

For the third straight year, the Golddiggers took home the league title, but this year they didn’t lose a single game in the second half of the season, which ended Feb. 13 at the Academy of Charter Schools.

With a 39-24 victory over the Wildcats, the Golddiggers secured their crown once more.
