Area children have the opportunity to go trick-or-treating and to make older adults feel special at an event at Elk Run Assisted Living in Evergreen.
Kids can go trick-or-treating at the residents’ apartments from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
It’s a great opportunity for kids to connect with older adults, according to Clorinda Heyl, Elk Run’s life enhancement director. The Elk Run residents have been talking about the event for weeks.
