Idaho Springs resident charged with criminal mischief

An Idaho Springs man has been arrested for criminal mischief after allegedly pulling out numerous survey stakes on East Miner Street.

On Thursday, Idaho Springs police responded to the 2800 block of Miner Street after receiving reports that David Sonsalla, 33, had been harassing construction workers, and then later pulled out the survey stakes.

According to the arrest affidavit, Sonsalla was still at the scene when officers arrived and was allegedly highly intoxicated at the time.
