-A A +A

The resort reported 100 inches of snow in the final month but still finished way below its season average

By Ian Neligh

Loveland Ski Area reported a strong end to its 2017-18 ski season despite lower snowfall averages than in past years.

“Loveland wrapped up what turned out to be a very successful season,” said chief operating officer Rob Goodell in a statement. “Throughout a winter that brought below-average snow, our snowmaking and grooming teams delivered enviable conditions, resulting in 199 operational days and a 5 percent increase in visits over the previous year.”
