For 26-year-old Stephen Perkins of Lawson, ATVing isn’t just a job; it’s a way of life.

Growing up in Manchester, Vt., Perkins was raised in the art of the snowmobile, taking after his parents, who owned a rental company there.

“I grew up in the industry and kind of fell in love with it, just because you’re taking people out on adventures that they would never do by themselves,” Perkins said. “You put them in situations that really they’re uncomfortable with, but having a guide there helps them a lot.”
