The Oh My Gawd Rodeo returns. The rodeo features bulls, broncs, ropers, racers and mutton bustin’. The rodeo begins at 7:30 p.m. Fridays at the Kiefer Arena. Take Interstate 70 to Idaho Springs, then take the frontage road west. Adults are $10, kids ages 10 to 17 are $5 and children under 10 are free. For entry information, call 303-622-9745.

Fireman’s Day Parade and Barbecue in Idaho Springs from noon to 3 p.m.
Chocolate Cocktail Party: The Georgetown Community Center will host its annual Chocolate Cocktail Party and silent auction fund-raiser from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on June 12.

Women’s Wellness Day: In recognition of the importance of women’s health, the Public Health Department will host a Women’s Wellness Day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 16 at the Idaho Springs Community Resource Center. The day is planned in conjunction with the arrival of the mobile mammography van from Saint Joseph Hospital. Mammography is open to women age 40 and over, but you must pre-register to receive a mammogram by calling 303-318-3419.

Friends of Beaver Brook Watershed, a nonprofit organization formed to ensure a quality environment and outdoor experience, seeks volunteer weekend rangers to hike and patrol the park during the hiking season.
