Macchione, Middle Park send Golddiggers to 0-2

GRANBY — Brian Macchione rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns and Marc Schmidt added 118 yards on the ground as Middle Park ran past visiting Clear Creek, 35-12, on Sept. 10.

Johnny Stensvad added two TD runs and Sam Little also scored for Middle Park (2-0).

Jonathan Suggs led the Golddiggers with 70 yards rushing on 18 carries. Danny Hagland had a fumble recovery for a score and Albert Delgado returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown.

Clear Creek (0-2) plays at undefeated Lutheran-Parker on Sept. 18. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
