Thanks for fence-building help
Dear Editor:
I write this week to extend a huge thank-you to the dozens of individuals and businesses that participated in the fence building at the Community Garden in Idaho Springs.
It was a powerful experience to witness so many local residents and businesses come together and work for something positive.
This type of community empowerment and strengthening is exactly what the garden is intended to accomplish.
On behalf of all of us at Scraps-to-Soil, we would like to thank Mill Creek Designs, Evergreen Rentals, Picci’s Pizzeria, Mainstreet Restaurant, Smokin’ Yards, Idaho Springs Lumber, City of Idaho Springs, K-GOAT, Jake Regehr, the Albers family, Del Brown, the Alley family, the Hochmuth family, Buz Chandler, Darin Barton, Bryan Wickenhauser, Emily, Charlie Crouch, Kenny Walters, Sharon Laine, Lucretia Olsen, Dave Jones, Micheli Dubien, Bill Macy, Randy Wheelock, the Dash family, Will Terry, Ivan Grinbank, Brandie Hunter-Grinbank, Margie Marlin, Audra Dies, John Bruin, Sandi Schuessler, Kate Collier, Michelle Robbins, Sue Howell, Shianne Smith, Jeff Roche, Joe North and Frances Marlin.
